Taal: Dutch | Location: Enschede

We are on the eve of the transition to a circular economy, in which we no longer use primary raw materials and no longer emit CO2. . It has been nationally agreed that these goals must be achieved by 2050, and 50% by 2030. The social challenges within the redesign of our living environment are enormous. Things really change are needed, but how to proceed? And what is the story for helping professionals to change?

Achieving these requires technical and economic expertise, an understanding of the life cycle and manufacturing processes of products and designs in the Architecture and Civil Engineering industries, and knowing how to ask something new of the market otherwise than you have always asked. This requires professionals on the side of the client and also the contractor to learn to think in a different way, but what should be the new way of working?

Areas of expertise from the courses in (Technical) Business Administration, Commercial Economics, Architecture and/or Civil Engineering, Creative Business, among others, are leading in this. And sometimes other expertise’s are also requested. By working on new professional products such as analyses, Civil or Architectural designs, Commercial advice, storyboards, etc. you can help your client take a step in the right direction towards a more sustainable future.

Do you want to contribute to a circular economy in the spatial domain and help people working in this field to take a step further with the required knowledge and skills? Then this is the learning community for you!
