Nano Technology and Materials

Language: English | Location: Enschede

In the Nano Technology and Materials Learning Community, you will work on the innovative materials of the future: from nanostructures and smart polymers to sustainable plastics and biological composites. For example, you will investigate how materials can be designed, analysed and applied at the nano and molecular scale in chip technology and sensors. Or you will investigate how new functional materials can be processed with modern production techniques such as 3D printing. By collaborating with research groups such as Applied Nanotechnology, you will discover how this research can contribute to societal challenges—such as microelectronics, biomedical textiles or recyclable lightweight composites. Together, we develop smart, sustainable materials that are ready for tomorrow’s technology.
