Smart Health

Language: Dutch/English | Location: Deventer

The Smart Health research group at Saxion focuses on finding smart solutions for the healthcare of tomorrow. We need your help with this. In the future, there will be more and more people who need care. This is called aging. To handle the demand we will face, healthcare needs to change. In this learning community, you will find projects related to this change. For example, how can we solve poverty in the neighborhood so that people don’t become ill as well? Or: can we make healthcare processes smarter using AI? And if we do that, how can we ensure that everyone can participate? Themes such as inclusivity, participation, sustainability, and personalized care are central to this cluster. You will be working on research related to health, processes, and innovation. From this, you will learn to look beyond your own background and think more abstractly about implementing innovations. We collaborate with various healthcare providers, housing associations, schools, and municipalities.

Your profile: you are not afraid to approach people, conduct interviews, and examine healthcare processes. In addition, you value equality and inclusivity. You want to create a better world for people in the future. Prior knowledge about healthcare is not necessary. However, we ask that you are open to trying new things.
