Cluster: Technology in Elderly Care
How can you best support older people to live independently at home for longer? District nurses are looking for (technological) interventions which they can deploy easily. Two care organisations are experimenting with a self-reliance suitcase/help bag. Both products contain (technological) aids that district nurses can easily deploy, such as eyedrop glasses. The first experiences are positive: easily accessible introduction to these aids and no administration. But: this care aid is not yet reimbursed by insurance companies!
The question for you: help us better map out the experiences of district nurses and clients and provide insight into what this means for care (e.g. quality of life, less deployment of staff, prevention of problems, job satisfaction). We are also looking for students with a financial background: help us to make the financial part transparent as well (e.g. via a ROI/SROI).
