Our green and sustainable programme is designed to reduce our ecological footprint as well as to be in control of chances an opportunities by meeting and exceeding customer’s expectations. As a worldwide company, we think global and act local. This is the context of this project. There is a strong need and urgency to define a Benelux Sustainable Strategy to predict and meet current and future trends and requirements concerning green buildings and circular economy. This will determine how to commercialise them in a way that ASSA ABLOY is relevant for stakeholders such as building owners, property managers, facility managers, architects, consultants, specifiers and contractors.
In order to define and implement this strategy, there is a need to analyse the general trends and demands, but also the specific requirements such as the Dutch MPG (Milieu Prestatie Gebouwen) in the upcoming building regulations. Our sustainability is focussed on the building environment. We expect students to generate knowledge on how to implement public requirements (BENG, MPG) and private requirements (BREEAM, LEEN, WELL, Madaster, Matchmaking, Nationale milieu database) regarding sustainability. We process information in BIM and follow up on specification programs (STABU, bouwconnect, Matrix etc.
If we can define the leading trends, what does this mean for our portfolio, service and marketing? Who are the stakeholders, influencers, specifiers, networking organisations, end users to target. How do we reach them, in what format, with what message? We also want to generate customer behaviour.
