Cluster: Circular Products 4

In this project, 3S students will study elemental analysis techniques as well as the fusion with visual data. This for the purpose of highlighting regions on a waste PCB, where there is occurrence or abundance of CRMs such as gold, silver, tin, wolfram, titanium, platinum etc. This information will be used to direct further waste pre-processing steps, such as cutting away parts before sending the sorted and CRM-rich waste to recycling refineries.

We are looking for students that would like to apply their analysis and experimental skills towards creating a safer and more resource-circular world. The exact tasks in this new project will be determined after the student group is formed and according to their interests in this field.
