Young children and (the existence of) death

Bison code: L.28197 (for GT: L.28198)

Every year, around 6000 underage children have to deal with the loss of one or both parents. In this project, you will help care professionals to better guide (parents of) children in this drastic period of loss of a parent or relative. In this way, children learn to better cope with loss and are more likely to further develop themselves in a positive way, despite the loss of a parent or loved one.

The central question is how the awareness of caregivers can be increased when it comes to the importance of supporting the children involved. This raises the question of how best to reach and inform care providers. What is their language, what search terms and channels do they use and what tools can be of added value here.
