Circular reuse of smoke alarm casing

This project challenges you to find a real business model to reuse the casing of a residential smoke alarm.
Normally, smoke alarms are replaced every ten years, after which the old smoke alarm is disposed of and some parts are recycled whereas other parts are incinerated. Current regulation does not allow for reparation of the smoke alarms.
Anticipating future legislation, we challenge you to come up with a business idea that retains a higher value than recycling or incineration. In other words, we would want you to ‘narrow the loop’.
So, what is the most appropriate circular business model for disposed smoke alarms?
